I will start by stating the obvious. These are great. Not only do they sound great but they are very comfortable and for anybody who has ever sat for hours with a pair of cans on, you know, comfort is key.
I use these for at-home music production (Cubase, VSTs, etc). The sound has a very strong range for all genres (low frequencies to high). They are also great for mastering since they do not color the sound too much. I actually prefer these to studio monitors.
Not doing music production? Fine. These will still be perfect for sitting and listening to music or watching movies late night when your wife is in bed. They are simply great headphones.
It is important to note that these are open headphones. This means that sound will "leak" out (people can hear your music) more than with a closed headphone. Open headphones also may sound slightly more spacious. Some prefer a closed headphone for mastering. I don't.
Remember to treat these guys properly. They are rather lightweight for the sound quality but they do not feel cheap. That being said, they are not cheap in price so don't go throwing these around. Treat them right and they will treat your right.
