Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind 4.5oz Electric Coffee Grinder 80335R

This is my first electric coffee grinder. I purchased it to go with my Bialetti Moka Pot. I was using a hand burr grinder and...well it works but you have to fuckin hand grind your coffee every morning, noon, and night(?). This had its charm for a moment but that wore off so I decided to go for an electric grinder.

When you start your electric coffee grinder journey online, you will immediately find out that if you do not get a burr grinder, the hipster police will come and get you. But you will also quickly realize that while you can get a burr grinder for $60-$200, you could also get a blade grinder for $20. After much debate (pathetic I know), I went with the Hamilton Beach Fresh Grinder Electric Blade Grinder. And its been great.

It works just as expected. I run the grinder for slighlty less than 10 seconds and the grounds are perfect. The grounds are not hot/cooked as the burr purists will tell you. It's fine. The coffee is great.

Some will say that the electric blade grinders are loud. Maybe? Maybe a little? Its nothing that bothers me but if somebody is on the phone, they will need to take a 10 second break.

The only complaint I have is that when working with a small Moka Pot, it is hard (annoying) to transfer the grounds from the grinder to the Moka Pot cup. This would be fine with a larger Moka Pot but I have the small Bialetti 3 Cup pot. Now you could argue that this is a specific use case and therefore not a relevant gripe, but it would be nice if there was a simple "lip" for pouring out whatever it is you just grinded.
